Gigondas

Gigondas

The Gigondas appellation is naturally delimited by the Dentelles de Montmirail to the east and the upper plateaux of the Ouvèze River to the west. The rugged topography of the Dentelles, amazing limestone pyramids, protects the vines from excessive summer heat and the full force of the mistral. Our vines grow on steep terraces up to 400 metres in altitude.

This Cru Gigondas displays a fine balance between freshness and an impression of sweetness due to old Grenache vines planted at high altitude. The wine is big on the palate, with a dense texture of rich, ripe tannin. Its polished personality reflects a top-rate terroir.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Winegrowing in this appellation goes back to the 14th century, when Châteauneuf-du-Pape earned its reputation thanks to the French popes in nearby Avignon. This collection is made from selected vineyard plots located primarily in the northern part of the appellation. The old Grenache vines thrive on soil with river stones on the surface and clay deeper downdeur.

A very refined bouquet with hints of prune, fig and caramel. Powerful and well-structured on the palate with a great deal of roundness as well as soft, elegant tannin. Roasted flavours on the aftertaste.

Vacqueyras

Vacqueyras

The name of Vacqueyras wines means "Valley of Stones" in Latin. This cru is located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The vines grow on wide terraces consisting of fallen limestone, as well as flint and sandstone river stones. This highly unusual terroir confers great finesse, elegance, and minerality to the red, white, and rosé wines.

Made primarily with Grenache, this Cru Vacqueyras is elegant and mineral. It is well-structured with a silky tannic texture as well as considerable freshness, lots of finesse, and a long fine aftertaste. The wine displays a medley of flavours on the palate – red fruit, raspberry, cherry, and sweet spice – along with a touch of menthol on the aftertaste.
