Bourboulenc : Did you know?

Do you know which grape variety is the second most used after Viognier in our Vacqueyras Blanc blend?

Here’s a hint: it has a funny name! Any guesses?

Yes, it’s Bourboulenc (pronounced “boor-boo-lenk”)!

Fairly unknown, originally from the South of France, it is mainly found in the southern Rhône Valley, Provence, and Languedoc Roussillon.

This grape variety offers delightful surprises. Thanks to its unique character and adaptability to different terroirs, it produces fresh, aromatic wines with great complexity.

When paired with Viognier, as in our Vacqueyras Blanc, it adds notes of citrus, white flowers, and exotic fruits.

A refined blend, perfect to enjoy with a seafood platter or as an aperitif.
