Visan is the most northerly appellation of the Vaucluse. It is located in the Enclave des Papes, in the middle of Provençal Drôme.

The vineyard surrounds the village, stretching up to the surrounding hills. It therefore benefits from various aspects and altitudes. On stony soils mingled with sand and marl, our vineyards produce elegant wines, with great finesse.

This red Visan is dominated by aromas of red fruits and spices. In the mouth, the mineral notes give it a distinctive personality. The tannins are silky and well integrated.

Villages SĂ©guret

Villages SĂ©guret

SĂ©guret is one of those gems that can be unearthed while exploring the southern CĂ´tes du RhĂ´ne. For a long time listed as one of the most beautiful villages of France by the association Les Plus Beaux Villages de France, this village near Gigondas boasts an exceptional location.

The vineyard grows on the foothills of the Dentelles de Montmirail massif. From the plains to the hillsides, a great variety of altitudes and soils can be found here. This diversity makes it possible to produce subtle, complex and balanced wines. The presence of the river Ouvèze helps keep the vines cool, particularly in the summer heat. This gives the wines added elegance and minerality.

Our cuvée Terroir Daronton fully expresses the characteristics of the appellation: freshness, fruitiness and elegance. A wine to be discovered without delay!

Villages Vaison-la-Romaine

Villages Vaison-la-Romaine

Located to the north of the Vaucluse, at an altitude of nearly 300 metres, the village and vineyard of Vaison-la-Romaine spreads out over chalky clay hillsides and sandy clay plains. Here, Grenache (southern grape variety) and Syrah (northern grape variety) come together to produce very aromatic wines with subtle tannins.

Our old vines are harvested by hand and vinified with respect for their terroir. They form a red wine dominated by notes of cherry and mild spices.  You may detect a hint of the garrigue (Mediterranean scrubland), with its scents of thyme and rosemary.

Villages Roaix

Roaix, which shares the same hill as its prestigious neighbour Rasteau, produces powerful, structured red wines. They are also very well balanced by an acidity that adds much freshness.

Our cuvée is a blend of the various terroirs in the appellation. Light, sandy soils on the plain; galets roulés (large, round rocks) and clay on the hillsides. The result is a wine of remarkable quality, with great balance and structure.

Roaix is one of those CĂ´tes du RhĂ´ne Villages wines that you absolutely must try! Anybody who appreciates full-bodied wines dominated by red fruits will not be disappointed.

Wine has been made in the Plan de Dieu region of the Vaucluse department since the Middle Ages. The Grenache and Syrah vines are spread over a vast terrace with limestone, river stone, and alluvial soils. This Plan de Dieu has a lovely red colour with deep purple highlights as well as a youthful, vivacious flavour on the palate.

The bouquet is redolent of a variety of fruits. The wine starts of quite straightforward and pleasant on the palate. It is a big and round, but with very elegant tannin as well as spicy flavours and a beautiful liquorice aftertaste.
