This wine is produced from soils formed of marl and gypsum from the Triassic, a terroir that is unique to the Rhône Valley. Growing in these soils that are rich in oligo-elements, with few stones, the vines produce very elegant, subtle and distinguished red wines.

The grapes used to make this cuvée were selected with great care and harvested at full ripeness. Matured in French oak barrels, this wine was then blended in our barrel hall. Its nose is complex and expresses roasted notes, combined with suppleness and elegance in the mouth. This wine offers great potential for ageing thanks to its being matured in French oak barrels for several months.

Our Cellar Master produces a specific cuvée, in a limited quantity, designed for appreciators of complex, structured wines, with great potential for laying down.

Our “Limited Edition” Vacqueyras Terroir Daronton is made with Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault on chalky clay soils covered with galets roulés (large, round rocks).

After being harvested by hand, vinification is done by separate grape varieties with maceration lasting 15 to 20 days. The Grenache is matured on fine lees for 11 months and the Syrah is placed in oak barrels.

Our 2015 “Limited Edition” Rasteau Terroir Daronton possesses wonderful depth and elegance. The notes of garrigue (Mediterranean scrubland) and ripe black fruits are mingled with smoky and liquorice aromas. The structure is ample and the finish is particularly long.

For the 2020 vintage, we offer you this “Limited Edition” Côtes du Rhône Villages Visan Terroir Daronton. Perfectly mature Grenache grapes, combined with Syrah and Mourvèdre that are more than 40 years old, produce a wine of great aromatic richness.

Maturation in a concrete vat for 18 months refines the tannins and structure.
