The Beaumes-de-Venise appellation covers the southern slope of the Dentelles de Montmirail, an amazing series of limestone pyramids that provide a cool, mild microclimate with optimum sunshine. The soil consists of marl and trias, a specific sort of terroir that exists only in the Côtes du Rhône. Our vines produce elegant, classy red wines on this light and not very stony soil.
This Cru Beaumes de Venise has a deep, dark colour and a nose of red and black fruit. It features rich, smooth tannin on the palate that gives the wine a suave, attractive flavour. This young, opulent, and vivacious wine also has a beautiful long aftertaste.
