Facing due south, the Rasteau vineyards are fairly well sheltered from the mistral. The vines grow on slopes with sandstone soil and clay subsoil.
This wine has a superb garnet-red colour with intense purple highlights. The nose has very ripe red and black fruit aromas as well as sweet spice – the sign of a great wine.
